1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the PacePoint Golf platform, including the player app, club portal and platform administration tools. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
2. Definitions
"Platform" means the PacePoint Golf website and related applications. "Club" means a golf club or organisation using the platform. "User" means any individual with a PacePoint Golf account, including Players, Professional Shop users, Golf Managers, Club Administrators and Platform Administrators.
3. Account registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Users must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required by local law.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use PacePoint Golf only for lawful purposes related to golf competition management, pace-of-play tracking and club operations. You must not misuse location data, harass other users, interfere with platform security, or upload harmful or infringing content.
5. Golf club accounts and roles
Clubs are responsible for assigning appropriate roles to their staff and members. A user's role determines what data they can access and what actions they can take within the platform. Clubs must ensure that role assignments comply with their own policies and data protection obligations.
6. Location services
Location sharing is a core feature of PacePoint Golf. Players and staff agree that location data may be collected and shared with authorised club personnel during rounds and competitions, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property
All software, branding, designs, data models and content provided by PacePoint Golf remain our property or the property of our licensors. Users retain ownership of any content they create, but grant us a licence to use it as necessary to operate the platform.
8. Payment
Details of any subscription fees, billing cycles and payment methods will be agreed separately with clubs or platform customers. Unless otherwise stated, all fees are exclusive of applicable taxes.
9. Limitation of liability
PacePoint Golf provides tools to support pace-of-play management, but clubs remain responsible for on-course decisions, health and safety, and compliance with golf rules and local regulations. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential or reputational loss arising from use of the platform.
10. Termination
Either you or PacePoint Golf may close or suspend an account if these terms are breached. Clubs may also remove users from their organisation. Upon termination, access to platform features will cease and data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the platform or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
